MAN is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles. Record sales of more than 100,000 trucks and buses per year confirm our continuous growth. Our own production facilities in India allow us to meet the wide-ranging local requirements and tailor our products to the different climatic and geographical conditions.

However, our work is not just focused on providing quality service: our joint venture, MAN Force Trucks Pvt. Ltd., has been operating its own production plant in Pithampur since 2006. This plant is producing trucks of 16 tons and over for the Indian market for the first time. MAN employees at this plant work on products ranging from long distance trucks to articulated trucks, from dump trucks and special purpose vehicles to various axle variants. More than 90 percent of the parts are produced locally. Thus MAN is the first truck manufacturer to produce European quality in India. For we have committed ourselves to supporting the transport and logistics system in India with high-quality and environmentally compatible products, thereby making our contribution to the country’s economic growth.
MAN Force Trucks is not only targeting India. Fifty percent of the planned annual production of around 24,000 vehicles in Pithampur is to be exported to other countries in Asia and continents like Africa.
